Game Introduction
Set in 16th-century feudal Japan during the Sengoku era, Assassin’s Creed Shadows tells its story through two protagonists: the shinobi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke. Naoe can use shadows, grappling hooks, kunai, and the environment to pull off stealth assassinations, while Yasuke excels in direct combat with katana, polearms, and matchlock firearms.
Players can freely explore castle towns, harbors, castles, forests, and mountain regions. Seasons and weather shift the scenery, enemy sightlines, and stealth routes. By building a reconnaissance network, gathering intel on targets, and upgrading your hideout, you can gradually track down key figures while unlocking new gear and allies.

The expansion delivers over 10 hours of new story content, along with new bosses, enemy types, skills, weapon abilities, armor, and gear. Awaji Island content becomes available after completing the main storylines for Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro, as well as the “Out of the Shadows” quest.
